I am deeply concerned about existing and emerging environmental issues related to climate change, human health, and water quality. I am inspired by the ways our earth naturally protects shorelines, cleans water, reuses materials, and prevents flooding. That's why I have dedicated my career to engineering nature-based solutions that equitably deliver multiple benefits to communities and regenerate ecosystem services.  In partnership with scientists from other disciplines, consultants, utilities, planners, and regulators, I work to implement these solutions within existing urban water infrastructure. As a young leader, I will inspire and equip our future engineers to work with nature, not against it.
